Roadside Assistance / Towing
Andrews does not maintain towing ability of any sort due to equipment and insurance reasons. We feel this is a job for professionals with the right equipment and expertise to transport your car safely and quickly so that we can focus on repairing cars!

When calling ask for towing and they will direct our call to the appropriate person. Hy-Tech is willing to bring a loaner car to your location if one is available and the transaction is arranged through John or Don. Towing charges at Hy-tech can be billed to Andrews with John or Don’s approval. Charges not approved will result in the car not being accepted without payment in full.

These companies all accept a variety of towing insurances but ask to be sure when calling.
Factors to consider when ordering a tow:
- Do I have an extended service contract that might cover the charges? If so, do I have to call their specific roadside assistance number in order for it to be covered?
- If you are waiting with the car, a tower closer to your location will mean a shorter wait time. If the car is in a safe location and time is not an issue, a towing company that knows Andrews’ location may be helpful so only one set of directions/instructions have to be arranged.
- Be sure the towing company has either wheel lifts or a flat bed to tow/transport the car and never let the car be towed with the front wheels on the ground. Serious damage could result without proper equipment or technique.
- Towing companies outside the Metro area will generally have lower rates and might be a better option if towing charges are going to be at your expense.
- If you carry AAA towing insurance, the car will go to the nearest AAA affiliate. If you carry AAA+ towing insurance, you can direct the destination of the car to where ever you would like up to 100 miles away. If the desired destination is more than 100 miles away, you would only be required to pay the charges incurred beyond the 100 mile mark.
- Be sure the towing company accepts your brand of towing insurance before you order the tow!
