
The brake caliber has been unbolted and hung with a bungee cord so as not to damage the brake hose, and a hose has been hooked to the brake bleeder which is connected to the container hanging below. A pair of large channel lock pliers are used to squeeze the caliper together with the brake bleeder open. Sediment, contaminants, etc. can be removed from the system instead of being forced back to the master cylinder.
